I used to work for Audrey when she was the Internal Audit Director in an American MNC, Solectron Corporation. Audrey has more than 10 years’ of experience in the internal audit profession. Prior to Solectron, she works in reputable companies such as 3M and Singapore Technologies. Always very energetic, she never runs of the ideas and nothing seems too difficult for her to achieve.
Frankly, to work for Audrey has never been an easy task. She set high standards for herself and demand the same from others. This is due to her passion and commitments on her work and more importantly, her constant need for improvement. Once committed to a task, she will never give up. She works hard to ensure success. With her experience, Audrey can easily identified cost/benefits and the risk exposure, find a way to balance the cost-effectiveness of a control, from a business point of view.
During the 5 year’s working (1998 to 2002) for Audrey, I have benefited much from her technical know-how on systems, accounting standards and auditing skills. She shares generously her vast experience and has never failed to motivate all those around her and prove her resourcefulness in resolving issues and bottlenecks. From my knowledge, she is also actively involved in some communal and voluntary work despite her hectic work schedule.
As a friend, she never fails to lend a listening ear. However, she will not hesitate to point out your mistake and reprimand you for not heeding her advice. Personally, I benefit much from her. Her enduring drive and passion, not limited to work only, has greatly inspired me and it has been my motto since then.

Just as Jesus Christ had compassion for the less fortunate, Audrey mirrors this compassion and with action when she started BMR. I consider myself to be one of the privileged few to be a part of the process of the conceptualization of BMR to the realization of this ministry in action and to be a clientele of BMR. Yes, there are ups and downs in any new start-up … but God is good and He is good all the time.
